Rise And Shine Liberty Loving Patriots,

This past week at a Trump rally, Jim Acosta and CNN were booed for being fake news.   Jimmy whined to his cohost that the crowd’s opinions was due to them being brainwashed by FoxNews and other conservative media. He and CNN suggested that President Trump was being Unamerican and that his attacks on the media somehow undermine the foundations of the Republic. Those in the Liberty First Brigade know that Mr. Trump was upholding the finest traditions of America’s founders by calling out FAKE NEWS. Here is a sample of what Mr. Jefferson was saying about the illustrious media of his day:

“Nothing can now be believed which is seen in a newspaper.  Truth itself becomes suspicious by being put into that polluted vehicle. The real extent of this state of misinformation is known only to those who are in situations to confront facts within their knowledge with the lies of the day.” Jefferson Letter to John Norvell 1807

Criticism of the media is not the threat; a corrupt and dishonest media IS THE THREAT!  The more things change, the more things stay the same, and those who are ignorant of history are ripe to be duped by a dishonest and manipulative media.  Don’t be a dupe!
