What to Bring

  1. Your handgun and Rifle: must be fully functional, have all factory-installed safety devices intact, and have no dangerous modifications (such as a “hair” trigger, or a removed trigger guard, etc.)
  2. You will need a to be able to conceal your firearm with a garment which includes the need for a concealment holster. 
  3. Sturdy Belt
  4. A minimum of two magazines – single or one double magazine pouch
  5. Electronic hearing protection
  6. Hat 
  7. Eye Protection
  8. Loose pants
  9. Hiking Boots or Athletic Shoes – NO SANDALS or OPEN TOED SHOES
  10. T-Shirt (Long Sleeve preferred) or Polo – NO LOW- CUT HALTER TOPS, HALF CUT TOPS, OR SPAGHETTI STRING SHIRT ALLOWED
  11. Rain Gear (WE TRAIN RAIN OR SHINE)
  12. Sun Screen (Recommended)
  13. Bug Spray i.e. Mosquito Repellent (Recommended)
  14. NO alcohol prior to, or during training

12pm – break for lunch on own and head over to Alloy Arms, 1941 Chisum Trail Rd., Whitesboro, TX
1:30pm-5pm Range training
7-9pm group no-host dinner at a local restaurant.  Cost NOT included in IDOL fees.

In the field of Martial Arts Larry is Considered amongst his peers as “a teacher’s-teacher” or simply put SiGung, a Chinese term meaning, “a master’s master.” A multiple-time State, National and International Karate Champion in bare-knuckle full-contact, no pads-no gloves competition. Larry is a full-contact (bare-knuckle) kick-boxing, international kick-boxing, professional boxing and mixed martial arts Champion and Coach. 

Larry is a JKD Black Belt under MMA Legend and Martial Arts Master Clarence Thatch. 

Larry is also an active Instructor and member of Progressive Fighting Systems and student of Sifu Paul Vunak who is widely known around the world and in law enforcement and military combat communities as “one of the greatest martial artist ever known”. Under Sifu Paul Vunak, Larry is a senior level instructor of the closely guarded R.A.T. System and certified as a Contemporary Jeet Kune Do Instructor.

Larry and his wife are the creators and developers of the #Skilledatviolence movement in which the Science of Violence training systems; training and curriculum has been developed.
